Admissions
Admission is the process by which a person applies, and is approved, for entry to study at a University to obtain a university qualification.
In the UK, universities might ask you for your exam results in related subjects – maths for economics, for example when applying to university. At other times, we'll just want to know that you have the overall grades required to complete the requirements to proceed through your qualification. Our admissions team are here to ensure you can understand the requirements for the course you want to apply for.
The admissions team manage enquiries and applications to all courses at the University. Working with the Schools, we provide advice and guidance to potential students.
We support the University’s recruitment ambitions by providing data and analysis in order to develop fair and transparent application processes.
We work with colleagues in other teams to support the delivery of events and activities, both in the University and at other locations. We also support Student Services colleagues in delivering visa information to applicants and supporting other university-wide events such as student registration and graduation.
Your exam grades are very important to us. We use exam grades to prioritise applicants, but other things count as well.
